Sustainable art refers to art that is in harmony with the key principles of sustainability: ecology, social justice, non-violence and grassroots democracy. It can be understood as art that is created with consideration for the wider impact of the work and its reception in relation to its different environments (social, economic, biophysical, historical and cultural). In doing this, sustainability in art can be made possible!
